I apologize for the long delay. I’ve been slacking on my blogging. I do however have plenty of reasons for this, mostly the one revolving around my computer not working correctly for the past few weeks.
But I am back and I will begin my blogging once more ASAP!
So, I’ve decided that once a week, on Monday to be exact, I’ll have Youtube Monday. Just one video. And it will probably be only once a week, unless I find something amazing during the week.
Unknown to seemingly everyone, Dashboard has announced the release of a new album. Apparently, according to Vagrant, this is a “return to roots album.” And thank God.
I didn’t even know that there was a new album being recorded. Maybe it has to do with the apple magically appearing on both the main Dashboard Confessional page & myspace page.
If you want to listen to a new song from the new album, “The Shade of Poison Trees”, go Here.
The album comes out October 2nd and I am counting down the days.
So, I was looking over at eBay earlier this morning to find some crazy, out-of-the-ordinary items to buy and waste my valuable money. But then I stumbled upon something that would look just amazing on my wall.
“Make sure to tune in to Domestic Disturbance Radio on K-Rock2 this Sunday night, August 12th at 9pm EST (with replays Tuesday and Thursday at 10pm EST) as Chris Carrabba from Dashboard Confessional drops by to play some songs and hang with Dubin and Christian. Part two of Chris’ visit to the show will air a week from this Sunday on the 19th at 9pm EST (with replays Tuesday and Thursday at 10pm EST), so mark your calendars. Make sure to check out the Domestic Disturbance Radio website to get caught up on any shows you may have missed, there is a huge archive where you will find all of the past playlists and you can even download all of the past episodes in mp3 format.. Some of the past shows include special unreleased acoustic performances from bands like Head Automatica, Straylight Run, Ben Lee, Walking Concert, Fred from Taking Back Sunday, Ted Leo, I Am The Avalanche, Kevin Divine and more…”
Should be fantastical.
And by the way, KROQ is a streaming channel, so you can get it online.
I’d like to welcome everyone to the Dashboard Confessional blog!
I know no one really cares for deep, thought-provoking introductions, so I will keep mine short and sweet.
